LCD Wall Chronothermostat Kit

Bi2 is a chronothermostat, designed and developed by Olimpia Splendid. The wall-mounted remote control kit by Olimpia Splendid is an electronic chronothermostat equipped with a backlit LCD display, conceived for the advanced management of Bi2 fan coil units and fan radiators from the same manufacturer. Compatible with modern home automation systems via Modbus RS485 protocol, it allows the control of up to 30 units simultaneously. The kit integrates a sensor for detecting room temperature, operating even in Standby mode, and is supplied with a 230/12 V AC double-insulated transformer for power supply, as well as a backup battery that activates in case of power failure. The controls are extremely intuitive: the LCD display provides comprehensive information on operating status and programming, while six function keys located on the sides of the screen allow the user to select the usage mode (Manual or Chronothermostat), the operating mode (Cooling, Heating, Automatic – available only in Chronothermostat mode – or Standby), the fan speed (Minimum, Maximum, Automatic – only in Chronothermostat mode – or Night), and the desired temperature. In Chronothermostat mode, operation, fan speed and temperature are set hour by hour, day by day, and automatically transmitted to the connected fan coils. This function ensures optimal comfort at any time of the day, maximizing system efficiency and reducing energy consumption. For connection, each fan coil must be equipped with a compatible control or a remote kit, depending on the model. In fan coils with TR Control, the connection is direct without the need for additional modules. Installation is wall-mounted, with hole spacing compatible with standard 503 recessed boxes.
