Self-priming pump CAM

CAM by Calpeda is a self-priming pump, conceived and produced by the company as an emblem of reliability and construction refinement. Its solid architecture is made up of a high-resistance GJL cast iron body, combined with a P-CU Zn brass cover, elements that provide robustness and long-lasting durability over time. The shaft, made of AISI 430 F stainless steel, ensures excellent mechanical properties and notable resistance to corrosion, while the P-CU Zn brass impeller enhances hydraulic efficiency and operational performance. The mechanical seal, obtained from quality materials such as carbon, ceramic and NBR, is designed to guarantee maximum reliability, avoid leaks and ensure long useful life even in continuous operating conditions. The CAM series is available in three distinct powers — 0.60 HP, 0.75 HP and 1 HP — offering wide versatility for diversified uses and constant performance in every application context.

Execution;

• Self-priming liquid ring monobloc electric pumps with star impeller with anti-blocking wear ring for CA 80,90,91.
• CA: version with pump body and cast iron fitting.
• BCA: version with pump body and bronze fitting.
• The bronze pumps are supplied completely painted.

Applications;

• For clean liquids without abrasive parts, without suspended parts, non-explosive, not aggressive for the pump materials.
• When there is air or gas present in the liquid to be pumped or when there are short interruptions in the flow of the suction liquid.
• For water supply with suction from wells.
• To increase the pressure available from a distribution network (observe local regulations).

Limits of use;

• Liquid temperature: -10 °C to +90 °C.
• Ambient temperature up to 40°C.
• Manometric suction height up to 9 m.
• Maximum final pressure allowed in the pump body: 6 bar.
• Continuous service.
